Serene Side Yard
A forgotten side yard given a stacked-stone water feature, a built-in grill and an outdoor shower. The narrowest strip on the property, fully used.
How this project came together
The design decision
We made the narrowest strip on the property fully usable: a paver patio running its length, with a contemporary black water feature along the planted edge to give the space something to look at.
The build
A built-in outdoor kitchen with grill and storage takes one side of the patio. A stacked stone water feature and river rock border finish the planting edge. An outdoor shower uses up the far end.
