More Than Two Decades at the Pasadena Showcase House of Design
Each spring since 2000, Pacific Outdoor Living has joined Southern California's most talented landscapers and designers to transform a single historic estate for the Pasadena Showcase House of Design, one of the country's oldest home and garden tours, benefiting music education across Los Angeles.

For more than 20 years, Pacific Outdoor Living has worked with the Pasadena Showcase House of Design to transform homes and lives through the power of music. We're proud to have been part of such an esteemed organization for so long, and for the chance to work alongside such a dedicated and talented group of people.
The Pasadena Showcase House of Design is one of the country's oldest and most esteemed home and garden tours, an annual event hosted by the Pasadena Showcase House of the Arts, a non-profit dedicated to improving lives through music programs and support.
Each year, Southern California's most talented landscapers and interior designers come together to completely renovate a single estate, each adding to the home's architecture with modern design concepts. Proceeds from the event fund programs including the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Walt Disney Concert Hall, and music education for students.
Over the years we've built swimming pools, custom driveways, water features and patios on Showcase grounds. We hope you'll visit and tour the grounds yourself when the show house opens each spring.
Where It Began
The 2000 Showcase House
The front yard garden was designed to enhance the beauty of this classic home and capture the character of its existing grove of statuesque trees.
The focal point of the garden is a stunning four-tiered fountain with cascading flowers set in a patio of intricate stonework, centered on the Showcase Home's front door. Benches and flowering urns surround the fountain, inviting visitors to relax in a perfect place to delight the senses. A winding pavingstone pathway meanders through the garden, while topiary deer graze on the broad lawn and splashes of seasonal color greet passers-by at the entrance.
