A coastal driveway rebuilt with a curved paver field and planted borders that frame the ocean view instead of competing with it.
How this project came together
The design decision
The driveway was rebuilt in decorative concrete pavers, curved to follow the fall of the lot so the approach opens toward the ocean rather than turning its back on it.
The build
Interlocking pavers take the sloped sections. Planted borders frame the drive and soften its edges. The pattern detail holds from the street through to the front entry.
