Paver Pathway
A worn dirt track turned into a curving paver pathway under an existing oak, with a retaining wall and iron gate marking the way through to the patio.
How this project came together
The challenge
Concrete and paver walks, flagstone paths and stepping connections showed how people were actually moving between areas. Existing trees, beds and open turf set the scale. It was clear enough which routes were working and which ones people had given up on.
The design decision
We replaced the worn access route with a properly built paver walkway, curved to follow the line people were already walking. Desire paths are usually right.
The build
Stamped concrete pavers take the path past an existing oak, with a retaining wall holding the grade and an iron gate marking the way through to the patio. Decorative stone borders and landscape lighting finish the route.
From survey to buildable plan
Every project is measured, drawn, and approved before a shovel goes in the ground. These are the actual drawings for this property.

100%Base Plan
This existing site plan illustrates the current layout and conditions of the property, showing the footprint of the main residence. The plan identifies concrete and paver walkways, flagstone paths, and stepping connections that define movement patterns and access between zones. Existing trees, planting areas, and open turf are shown to establish scale and spatial relationships, while hardscape elements and transitions clearly illustrate how the outdoor spaces are currently organized and experienced.

Design, permits, materials, and construction are handled by one in-house team. A designer will walk your property, talk through what's realistic on your lot, and show you what the space can become.
